Built and grew Pick & Print end-to-end—starting with the brand itself. I designed the branding from the ground up: logo concept, visual direction, and the overall feel and tone of the business. The logo was intentionally designed to look like a crafty, cut-out heart that also forms the shape of the letter “P,” reinforcing the handmade/personalized identity while keeping the mark simple and memorable.
From there, I designed and developed the full e-commerce website (WordPress/WooCommerce), owning UX/UI, page layouts, and the complete product presentation. I created all product images and visual assets to maintain a consistent, polished look that builds trust for a new brand. On the development side, I implemented a custom “design your product” functionality available on every product, enabling customers to personalize their items directly within the buying flow.
On the growth and marketing side, I led advanced SEO from scratch: conducted keyword research to identify the highest-intent searches for both Nova Scotia and Canada-wide audiences, then structured content using pillar pages and supporting topics to build authority. I created local SEO pillar pages targeting Nova Scotia discovery (including location/pickup intent) while also building broader pages to capture nationwide demand for personalized gifts. I supported this with social media marketing to increase reach and consistently drive traffic into the site.
I used analytics (GA4 and Google Search Console) to track user behavior and performance, then iterated based on real data—analyzing the full journey from landing page → product selection → customization/design → checkout to reduce friction and improve confidence. Within 4 months, the site achieved its first organic order, validating the SEO foundation and confirming that the website experience was strong enough to earn customer trust and convert—even as a newly launched brand.
