Omagakii.ca is a medicinal dispensary operating in Saskatchewan, with locations in Regina and Yorkton. I was responsible for developing their Website Redesign under a design agency, starting with the creation of a full prototype using Adobe XD. The goal was to design a user-friendly and functional e-commerce platform that would cater to their expanding business. The website was then built on WordPress with WooCommerce and integrated with their Lightspeed X POS system. This integration allowed their product inventory, pricing, images, and content to automatically sync between the website and their POS system, ensuring real-time updates whenever changes were made in Lightspeed. Additionally, the website efficiently manages the stock for both store locations, providing accurate and dynamic inventory information for customers across both regions.
Throughout the project, I maintained close collaboration with the Omagakii team, ensuring they were kept informed and involved in the planning, design, and development phases. This approach helped align the final product with their vision and business goals. After the successful launch of the website, I provided basic training to their staff, enabling them to manage and update the website content themselves. This project not only improved Omagakii.ca’s digital presence but also streamlined their operations, allowing them to effectively manage their inventory and sales processes both online and in-store.
